- Doug Marcaida Designs First Release: Signature release from blade expert and TV judge Doug Marcaida, the BattlSpear is purpose-built for bushcraft, camping, and hard-use field conditions. It handles tasks like prepping firewood, building shelter, campsite maintenance, or tackling remote bushcraft tasks, the BattlSpear is a versatile, field-tested multitool trusted by outdoorsmen, campers, and survivalists alike
- Machete Hybrid for Outdoor Use: This fixed blade knife combines extended reach capability with the chopping power of a machete, giving you versatile utility for clearing brush, trail maintenance, camp prep, or remote wilderness tasks where multifunctional gear matters
- Modular Handle For Extended Reach: Transform into a long‑reach outdoor tool by removing the two handle screws using the included Philips screwdriver (tucked into the lanyard). Once removed, apply a firm counter‑clockwise twist or controlled impact to break the factory‑tight seal at the handle base. After the seal is broken, insert a sturdy branch or stick into the handle cavity. Reinstall the screws to lock it in place for secure extended‑reach operation in outdoor environments
- Heavy-Duty Carbon Steel Blade: The 0.157” thick blade is made from 1065 high carbon steel, prized for its durability and ease of field sharpening. Built to handle high-impact tasks like wood splitting, shelter building, and clearing dense undergrowth
- Secure & Comfortable Grip: The 6.5” handle is constructed from black nylon glass fiber, offering superior grip strength and slip resistance in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, or mud. Includes a durable nylon sheath with belt loop for safe, secure carry when not in use
- Dimensions: Blade Length: 12” – Handle Length: 6.5” – Overall Length: 18.5” – Blade Thickness: 0.157” – Weight: Approx. 21oz
