Yair Emanuel's incomparable and irrepressible style exhaulting the vibrant life of his hometown of Jerusalem is evident in his artwork. Bright colors and the fusion of old and new characterize his artwork which is designed and crafted in his Jerusalem Studio. Kiddush -- literally, 'sanctification' is a blessing recited over wine or grape juice to sanctify the Shabbat or a Jewish holiday. The Torah refers to two requirements concerning Shabbat - to "keep it" and to "remember it" (shamor and zakhor). What a wonderful way to fulfill this essential duty with this matching kiddush cup and saucer. Hand signed by Emanuel.
- The Emanuel Kiddush cups are made out of wood
- They are hand painted with a brush using acrylic colors and then lacquered
- The cup can be used for drinking and also be washed by hand in water since it is coated with several layers of lacquer
- The cup and saucer portray a colorful Jerusalem scene
- Kiddush cup is approximately 5.5 inches tall with the cup diameter at 2.4 inches; the saucer is over 5 inches in diameter
