Kona Process X DL Frame - Indigo-Forest-Gray Fade - 2021

If the Undertaker were to trade his iconic motorcycle for a mountain bike, the Kona Process X DL would be his ultimate weapon of choice on the trails. This beast of a bike is engineered for riders who thrive on the most technical and challenging terrains, delivering a ride that's as aggressive and stealthy as the Undertaker himself.

Key Features of the Kona Process X DL:

KONA CARBON FRAME

The Process X DL's frame is crafted from Kona's high-modulus carbon fiber, designed to be lightweight without compromising strength or durability. Kona's meticulous design and construction process ensures the perfect balance of performance and durability, allowing riders to push their limits with confidence.

INTERNAL HEADSET

An internal headset design not only reduces stack height, providing a lower and more adjustable bar position, but also allows for easy maintenance with removable bearing cups. This setup enhances the rider’s ability to customize their fit for optimal control and comfort.

TAPERED HEAD TUBE

The tapered head tube design increases strength where it’s needed most—at the bottom, where shock forces are highest. This results in better steering precision, reduced brake shudder, and a stronger overall structure, giving riders greater confidence on rough, unpredictable terrain.

12x148mm BOOST AXLE

The 12x148mm Boost axle standard ensures a stiffer and more durable rear wheel setup, crucial for handling the rigors of aggressive riding. The wider spacing improves tire clearance at the chainstay yoke, allowing for a more robust and stable ride, especially when tackling the gnarliest trails.

VERSATILE WHEEL OPTIONS

The Process X DL is versatile in its wheel compatibility, accommodating 29", 27.5" (650b), or a mixed (mullet) setup. This flexibility allows riders to choose the best configuration for their riding style and terrain, whether they prioritize speed, agility, or a mix of both.

161mm REAR TRAVEL

With 161mm of rear travel, managed by the RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate shock, the Process X DL is ready to absorb big hits and keep the rider composed through rough, technical descents. The trunnion mount shock enhances small bump sensitivity and provides a plush, controlled ride.

ROBUST FRAME PROTECTION

The frame features molded protection on the chainstay, seatstay, and down tube, ensuring that the bike can withstand the abuse of the trail while keeping the carbon frame in pristine condition.

PRECISE COMPONENTS

The bike is fitted with an FSA Orbit 1.5 EP ZS headset, ensuring smooth steering and compatibility with the tapered head tube. The rear dropout/hub dimensions are 148x12mm Boost, maintaining the bike’s stiff, responsive feel.

Conclusion: The Kona Process X DL is built for those who want to dominate the trail with a bike that's as relentless as the Undertaker himself. Whether it's bombing down rocky descents or navigating tight technical sections, the Process X DL offers a ride that is powerful, precise, and poised to take on anything the trail throws its way.
