Our Master Grooming Tools™ 5200 Series Thinning Shears are ideal for shaping, thinning, and texturizing coats. These dog grooming shears are made of 440C stainless steel with a Rockwell Hardness rating of 52.

Blending Shears, compared to thinning/finishing shears, have a higher number of teeth per inch of shear. Thus, the cumulative cutting surface is smaller and less hair is removed with one motion. This allows them to be used to soften harsh clipper lines by blending close to the skin and also for bulk thinning.
