Montblanc ebonite core 144 Black Full Gold EF Extra Fine Fountain Pen

This is a highly sought-after 144, which was discontinued over a decade ago and is no longer available new.

This particular pen is an early model, manufactured in the early 1980s, and features an ebonite feed, rather than the cost-reduced resin feed found in later models.

Unlike the successor model, the 145, which has a screw-on cap, this pen has a snap-on cap, making it more convenient to use.

The nib width is extra fine, the most popular size, making it easy to write fine lines.

While there are minor scratches overall and a slight crack-like mark on the cap, these are reasonable considering the age of the pen. There are no defects and no engraved name.

The 144 is known for having many counterfeits, but rest assured that this pen has been authenticated and its functionality has been confirmed. In the unlikely event that it is a counterfeit, a full refund (including shipping costs) will be provided.

Please note that this listing is for the pen body only.
