Vintage Custom Made Persian Lamb Coat
The owner of this coat passed away in 1970, and I believe the coat was made in the 1950's.
More of the silky, wavy broadtail type fur rather than the tightly curled hair of older lambs and sheep.
2 hook and eye closures
Wide sleeves with a fitted, hidden inner sleeve for warmth
It's very heavy (weighs over 6lbs!), and very beautiful. Multiple sparse spots (see photos), but none too big, and overall quite nice. There's a split in the seam of the shoulder that's less than 2" long, and can definitely be repaired (see photos). You cannot see the split.
22" pit to pit
37.5" shoulder to hem (length)
23.5" shoulder to hem (sleeve)
11" flat lay sleeve opening
